TRAINING UPDATES:

WORLD

A note to a friend:

As for the world, Russia/Ukraine will have to settle it, as we are now likely focused on Iran.

We do not have the forces to conduct a lodgment or should I say boots on the ground in Iran.  Work has to be conducted by covert means.  Do the countries surrounding them allow these folks in along with equipment?  If not, it is a standoff fight.  

The people in Iran do not have the will to overthrow, so we must take responsibility for the power vacuum we create.  Packages of both aid and education need to be readied.

While the Iranian people do not have the ability to take charge of their own affairs, it might take a decade of babysitting, education and help to steer them away from “Death to America” or “Destroy Israel.”

If we take out the infrastructure in Iran, who has the money to rebuild them?  Currently we are draining Russia at the same time, and it might be a strategy to weaken them.  Drain them of their hardware, money, and soldiers.  Like what Reagan did in the Cold War, but active wars cost much more in equipment, money, lives, and political unrest at home.

If we circle the middle east into isolating Iran, it might help.  Russia is too poor to help them for decades, then who?  Maybe Europe, but most likely it will fall to us.  Instead of giving pallets of money to bad guys in the country, it needs to be accounted for and channeled to positive causes.

Likely, we are giving the Iranian opposition time to make a decision, but more likely, we are allowing our diplomatic friends the time to evacuate their people before we cut the head off the snake.

GENERAL:

We are at a definite turning point in our country.

The voters, the American People have spoken and we have elected a new President to get things changed.

With that, do the American People have the guts to stand behind their decisions?

The entrenched corruption of the government and the left has been exposed.  The media has also been exposed as complicit.

When the media stands with the paid agitators and disrupters, they are part of the problem and should be treated as such.  Stand behind the police and not among the shit birds waiving foreign flags while standing on a burning car.

I would gladly donate $1,000 less lethal munitions for LE to tune up everyone in the grid square as they are not promoting freedom, but anarchy. 

I have been to a few “civil wars” and the crap they are pulling would simply get them executed in another country.  Here, we protect their rights to destroy private property, attack police and terrify the innocent.

Until they are simply beat down into the ground, they will not understand.  We have allowed them to continue this pattern of conduct with no repercussions.  It is time to crush toes and not just step on them.

With that, the time is at hand to start putting corrupt politicians in jail for stealing taxpayer money.  Put them and any of their family members in jail who also profited.

Rolling Narrative

I usually do not change content in my web letter as I do not want to become a “shock jock” as seen on YouTube.

I use my writing as a “Rolling Narrative” or detailed report, and it will be buried in a file should it become an issue one day. I write what happened, when, and my thought process and decisions made.  I have used this technique for many decades.  I can also use it to mentor my co-workers as to how I handle issues. I write it, archive it, and move on with my life.

The DA’s Office decided to leak my name as a political hit job.  They should seek to maintain the same professionalism as our Police Department in regards press releases. Once the PD finishes a case, they send it to the DA and it is done. They do not release names.  The DA sends the case to the court for settlement and they should not release names.  Releasing names can be viewed as “witness intimidation.”

The DA’s office has intimate knowledge of the case and specific facts that I do not have. I get a generic warning that he threatened his ex-wife with a rifle and that is about it. He is now back in his house next door to me. People were looking out for my personal safety and that of my family. Some of the facts in the case I did not know until the press release as the DA’s office used them to hype their criticism of me.

Below is my last letter I sent to the paper and will put this issue to bed.

First, I hope the victim finds peace and gets counseling from the incident

Bill was my next-door neighbor one year prior and two-years after the crime.  The DA and Courts decided to put what many consider a violent offender back in their home and property under loose supervision (ankle monitor), without notifying neighbors.  I received word of the incident from concerned individuals and not the DA’s office.

I was hyper vigilant for a few weeks as I had my daughter and wife at home while I had to work.

My options were to ignore him, be rude to him or simply be Christian like and Texas polite.  I tried to be polite and listen to his side as he eventually opened over two-years of pre-trial confinement. 

By keeping open communication with Bill, more often than his probation officer, I could read his mindset and agitation level.  If I could not help him level out, I could be a second trigger in addition to his ankle monitor should I sense danger.

In cases of violence, a condition of house arrest, offenders should be required to receive mental health counseling for their time on house arrest.  The problem is not going to fix itself. Mental health counseling could have been a third trigger of a potential problem. 

He was allowed to work on his property, my property, and other locations in the neighborhood.

This case was a mess for everyone involved as it was kicked down the road to a second judge for adjudication. 

For the three years I knew him, in that his actions were out of character and not a pattern of conduct.  In short, he snapped and no one knows why.

The DA’s office wants to vilify me for exercising a constitutional right and speaking up.  Less than five minutes of mostly yes or no questions about 3 years of history and I am now the town bad guy. This after being in, training and supporting law enforcement for 50 years.

The court has now ruled and everyone is now safe again.

LE TRAINING

We have an Advanced Hostage Rescue Live Fire class, 4-8 August if interested.

TRAINING/GUARDIAN 1

We have run several Teacher Guardian classes this past month.

A common theme I see is the lack of consistent training.

We are having problems with Guardian Students coming to the G1 class, not having practiced their marksmanship/standards.  They are on our website.

In the future, students will get 2 chances on day 1, 2 chances on day 2, and 2 chances on day 3 to pass.

If they do not pass a qual, they will be given a 3-Day Tac Pistol Certificate for their minimal efforts.

In my humble opinion, if teachers or staff cannot qualify, they should not be allowed to carry a firearm in a school.  While the state of Texas cannot get their act together with any meaningful standards, we will hold students accountable.

Teacher Guardian program personnel should routinely train and keep training records of their training.  Records will be subpoenaed when an incident takes place. 

Another issue I've observed is the selection of poor-quality guns and holsters by Guardian personnel.   Invest in a long-term holster and pistol that will last for years.  Going cheap will kill training time and will result in you spending money twice instead of once.

BARRACKS

While the barracks has saved many a student money in the past, I must unfortunately raise the rent.  To stay there for a two- or three-day class, it is $100 extra to class tuition.  Power, water, AC/Heat has all gone up as well as maintenance and maintenance contracts.  Send any complaints to Joe Biden, PODUS.  Also, if you are a current LEO paying on your own dime, the barracks increase does not apply to you.  

MISC

Momma decides where to put her babies when she goes out to feed or rest.  We have up to 5 babies around the backyard with one being a set of twins.

The babies are starting to eat grass, which means they will not be so protective too much longer.

It has been a challenge to walk the dogs with overprotective mothers.  You just never know where they are going to put their babies.

RANGE

Nothing new to report, but there has been a lot of rain and humidity.
