GOING GREEN
In the future, students need to bring a Thumb Drive of 32G or larger to class to download the class information. Instead of wasting money/time and resources on DVD’s and cases, I will have a multi-port USB attached to the classroom or shop computer that allows students to do a quick transfer to their USB.
GENERAL Hopefully we can get our country back on track in the near future without the partisan hate and bickering sent to our President and leadership. The left is simply evil. That is about all I can say. The time for “push back” is way past due. Non-violent protests at their homes are in order. Video of their vehicles, family and infrastructure would not be out of line.

The CSAT Way on Facebook Thank you for all the positive comments on the site. I have been doing a “Myth Buster” Monday for the past few weeks to clear the air. Eventually I will do them on the first Monday of the month.
You can visit “The CSAT Way” on

My Shooting Book is on track and should be published within a couple of weeks and will be in paperback and on Kindle. Since we are locked in, we have attacked three summer projects.

Videos for Website
I have been shooting video this month and focusing on the instructor tier of training. The Instructor Tier will focus on the how to instruct safely and how-to safely stair-step critical information for routine and high-risk training. It will also include how to effectively teach and mentor students. If you are at an LE agency and your training sergeants needs some help, this is something he could set up on a classroom computer for individuals to review. I will be also working on setting up a “Tactics Section” for vetted LE trainers. This way you would have a step-by-step guide on how to set up and conduct live fire tactical training at your agency level. We are still researching how to keep this close hold.
LE CORNER/TRAINING
We are going to looking at the feasibility of making an LE only section on the Patreon website.
WEAPON FAILS
Since buying once is important to me, I thought I would start a section of “Weapon Fails” for that month. We are still running lower than number classes.
We did have one 9mm M & P Shield fail in class (trigger). The owner said he had about 1,000 rounds through it.
Let me know if this is helpful and I will continue with this.
EQUIPMENT Rechargeable Nite-Ize Strobes/Micro-Lights While still using the battery fed strobes for link ups and signaling, Nite-Ize has come up with a rechargeable strobe that fits a Micro-USB cable. It is a bit thicker than the battery lights, but also comes with a much sturdier attaching clip.
We use these lights extensively in our training for link up signals, marking students and marking control points in training.

RANGES Work continues and mowing/spraying has begun. HUNTING Pigs are getting thinned a few at a time. BOOKS “Protecting Your Church” by Cody Blocker is out on Amazon. Cody has taken many classes at CSAT to include the Tactical Pistol/Rifle Instructor course. He is a great shooter and trainer and put his talents into a book addressing Church Security concerns.
IN CLOSING
Thank you and we look forward to seeing you on the range.

Keep doing what you do!
The Weapon Fails section will be great. It's a fascinating subject for those interested. It will also be cool to see user-induced weapon fails, ie. after market parts on a Glock/M&P etc. I see a lot of user-induced issues on guns modified from stock.
