PALESTINIANS AND BABYSITTING

The Palestinians have never been able to self-govern. They have always been a puppet for outside actors who use them to stab at Israel.

They need to be babysat and ruled.  Otherwise, Hamas or other state actors will be back to infiltrate them.

The “Pals” have been kicked out of every country in the Middle East for a reason. Do your research.

We or Israel simply needs to go in and exterminate Hamas.  It is that simple.  Someone needs to put on their big boy pants and decide, or this back-and-forth will continue.

GLOCK DECISIONS

Glock must have hired the fired Sig Leadership.  The Glock “Switch” has been around since the 90s.  Yes, I saw them back then.  They were as worthless back then as they are now.

Criminals will find their way around this and build another mousetrap.

This is a symptom of a larger problem, specifically one related to manhood and leadership, or the lack thereof. I have watched the first generation of kids whose parents bring them into a business, only to see it crater.  They are not the same cut of cloth and do not have the drive that the original founders had.  Much like our society today.

You see kids living a good life and being handed leadership roles they are not worthy of, and they lose the business.  They lack the same drive and fire as the founders. Parents often prioritize emotions over business sense when they bring in their offspring who lack leadership skills. They will run off the talent and surround themselves with yes people.

This might be the case with Glock. They promoted loser managers instead of leaders.  They brought in professional wussies who now threaten an industry by bowing to politics.

The good news is that this is America. They can either right the ship at Glock or someone will take their pathetic place.

I don’t buy Sigs out of principle.  Glock may be following suit.

TACTICAL KEN AND BARBIES OF THE ADMINISTRATION

I applaud the current appointees who are trying to implement reform in the various agencies.  However, wearing body armor resembles cosplay, and it takes years to become a commando, but only 10 minutes to dress like one.

Yes, do PT with them.  However, when you start doing massive demos, they often consist of canned exercises that can waste a significant amount of real training time and accomplish little.

Getting a photo op with a little bird and all the guns and gear is cool, but it takes up training time, resources, CIF, a handler to ensure you don’t shoot yourself, and aviation assets.

Try and limit your dog and pony shows to the bare minimum.

CSAT TAC COMP

I have watched the Competition Industry cater to the gamers in life. After seeing what it was all about, I steered clear.

I am working on starting a local match, likely consisting of 6 stages, including shooting the standards for scoring.

All stages will be shot from a concealed carry or LEO duty rig.  All stages will be tactically judged according to rules known in advance.

Teaching and remedial will also take place.

I have a bit of experience in this, as I ran three state SWAT Competitions during my time building CSAT.

We will start gradually with these matches and evolve to low light and rifle, if the interest is there.

Additionally, we will incorporate live fire scenarios into shoot houses, featuring discrimination and medical modules.

More to follow on this

ENHANCING A WEAPON TO FAILURE

Yes, this is a problem.  Individuals often feel the need to experiment before gaining class experience, and if something is going to break, it will likely fail during a class.

The good news is, we keep some spare parts and rental guns for just this reason.

I fixed an AR trigger in this last class and a lower/upper tensioning pin.

During the weapon maintenance phase, we found a bolt with worn gas rings, which we were able to replace. It changed his gassing pattern from 1 o’clock to 3 o’clock on a shooter that puts the mileage on his platforms.

ADDED CLASSES

Also:

·         Close Quarter Tactics 15-16 November

·         Extreme Pistol 8-9 November

·         Mid-Range Rifle 13-14 December

Mid-Range Rifle

This class will validate your platform from 0 to as far as your platform, you, your ammo and optics will allow.

We will do a significant amount of work on Sniper Hill, but we have also added some intermediate modules to help you understand the low end of your optics in the Shoot House as well.

Several intermediate-range modules have been added.

As for ammo, bring what it shoots well at 100. If you do not, you will not maximize your platform and validate drop/holds on the distance modules, as well as some surgical modules.

PRO SHOP/STEEL

We have a clearance on Knives and Hawks.  Contact the shop for details.

“Be sure to check in at csattss.com for our line of Tomahawks and limited-edition blades.”

BARRACKS

While the barracks have saved many students money in the past, I must, unfortunately, raise the rent.  To stay there for a two- or three-day class, an additional $100 is charged above the class tuition.  Power, water, AC/heat, and maintenance costs have all increased, as have the associated maintenance contracts.  Send any complaints to Joe Biden, PODUS. Also, if you are a current LEO paying on your own dime, the barracks increase does not apply to you.

RANGE

The heat is breaking a bit, and it has been the mildest summer I can recall.

IN CLOSING

Thank you. We look forward to seeing you on the range.
