January 2021 Training Update

GOING GREEN

In the future, students need to bring a Thumb Drive of 64G or larger to class to download the class information. Instead of wasting money/time and resources on DVD’s and cases, I will have a multi-port USB attached to the classroom or shop computer that allows students to do a quick transfer to their USB.

GENERAL

When I look at our nation, I see unlimited potential.

But it also disheartening at best to see the low-life scum who infest our government and claim to represent the people. Most are lower than whale-shit. We the people have lost control of our government. Politicians are self-serving and are running amuck without any supervision from the people they represent. It is time now to pull in the reigns.

We the people are whom they serve. The stimulus bill is the latest example of a dysfunctional government and is a joke at best. Thousands of pages to read and approve in just a few hours. Put together by crooked leadership and shoved down representatives’ throats to vote for or be reprimanded. Our representatives want to bribe us with our money ($600/2000) and give most of it away to foreign governments so they can skim their share off the top. Instead of being representative, politicians seek power and personal wealth instead of what is good and relevant for the people they serve.

We cannot go forward as a stable/legitimate country without fair and safe elections which I believe, did not occur. This downslide started with the Clinton corruption and was entrenched by eight years of Obama.

You can quietly rise up or be plowed under. As an American, the choice is yours.

States must handle their states.

I envision “Citizen Action Groups” forming or in other words, Militias. Counties should take care of their counties and the cities that are within the county boundaries. They can be overt or covert. The people in the county know our problems and who they are, from corrupt politicians to the local criminals. Decentralization makes these pro American groups more difficult to target by a corrupt government. They may centralize one day as a political party, but not just yet.

Trained and decentralized groups either overt or covert can have a tremendous impact on the corruption in our country. Unfortunately, our police are many times puppets of corrupt city managers, mayors and even governors. Police are pulled back when they should be aggressive and then used against political enemies of our leftist wanna-be dictators.

Citizen Groups who do not train are what we used to term, “Gaggle Fucks.” That is, a group of people with no adult leadership, direction or purpose. Many exist today. They have all the gear, but they are groups of goofy individuals who wish to feel good about their existence and “stroke” each other about their capabilities.

Pressure on the left can come in all forms. Leftists and Democrats allowed our cities and businesses to burn, so be it. Those rules must now apply to both sides of this fight.

Politicians who use the government against you or your family need to understand that it can go both ways. It could result in a reciprocal conduct to employees and their families who violate the constitution.

Militias or Citizen Action Groups should begin to rise and train locally so they can impact what threatens them locally. We either face the corruption/unrest now or we will have to shoot our way out of it down the road.

If President Trump stays, BLM, Antifa and others will resume causing problems. If the Left attempts to push him out, more problems will arise.

In the end, face the New Year with your head up and your eyes open. It will help to have your guns clean, zeroed and lubed. I look forward to a better change for America.

THE CSAT WAY ON FACEBOOK

We continue to work on new video content for both the Operator and Instructor.

You can visit “The CSAT Way” on FaceBook for video updates.

AMMO FOR CLASSES

We have a limited amount of ammo that can be purchased for classes. It was purchased at the current higher prices, so expect it if you need some.

CIVILIAN TRAINING

First, we will be running more one day classes in the future with low round counts, more dry-fire and tactical drills as tactical drills help reduce the amount of ammo you fire. The one-day courses will be linked together on a weekend so you can take both classes if you so choose.

One Day Tac Pistol

One Day Tac Pistol-Tactical Drills

One Day Tac Rifle

One Day Tac Rifle-Tactical Drills

Next, with the current situation, CSAT will be offering “Patriot Tactical Training-PTT” which will cover actions that may be needed during these dangerous times. You will need to have a Basic Rifle and Pistol courses prior to attendance.

The training will be individual, two person and team tactics. Course descriptions will be generic such as “Level I Course.” There will be Level 2-10 courses as well.

When you show up to the PTT Course, your weapon needs to be zeroed at 100. If it is not, you may be released from the course. Serious times require serious Americans. We will offer a one-day prep course prior to the two actual training days, the day prior to the course. You will be required to take notes, written and verbal and no filming will be allowed. It will be hyper-aggressive, yet controlled training.

Due to the ammo situation, you can adjust your volume of fire so as not to expend a great deal of your ammunition. It will be high reps and low fire volume. You will work in Team Based deployment scenarios.

The first Level I PTT Course will deal with vehicles, two-person CQB, Rescues, Security positions and much more.

Next, I am looking at running more one day training modules with High-Dry Fire and low round count. This will include more low round count tactical scenarios.

These courses will allow for barracks use and will start in January and mostly run on the weekends. If you have a group that wishes to train during the week, e-mail me.

If you want a civilianized Sniper Course, take the Long-Range Hunter.

Also, I can put together group training classes.

Serious times require serious training. More to follow on this…

LE CORNER/TRAINING

Dec Basic SWAT- My Observations

  • Rifle AD

  • Improper assembly/misfires

  • Shoot wrong targets 2 person CQB

  • Flagging corners

  • Flagging coming out of rooms

Lead Instructor Comments

Your list looks good. I hate to beat a dead horse but the most annoying thing I see is that these guys choose a CQB system based on popularity and never think about what they are actually doing.

Gear on guns is crap too.

One student has a donkey dick on his gun that is longer than his entire gun. He doesn’t even use it. He has it only for shooting prone. No iron sights is a trend.

2nd Lead Instructor Comments

Your list is on the money and I agree with Nick as well. My biggest things are

1- Weapon familiarity especially with rifle. They have optics, no irons, and if they do, they are there for show. They are unable to zero their own guns and have no clue how to make adjustments. Officers are showing up with issued duty guns that someone else zeroed. Problem? Yes!! This is a failure on their leadership and training. They have an issue with locking bolts to the rear pulling charging handles just plain manipulation issues.

Unable to field strip clean and lubricate and put back together.

2- For many running guns high and pointing guns at people who don’t need guns pointed at them is a huge issue Industry wide. This is a hard thing to break once they are taught things at their agencies, academy and you tube.

HUNTING

Quiet month. Pigs had babies and are keeping them in the brush. They are now teaching them how to root up dirt. The downrange side of sniper hill looks like an air strike took place…

KNIVES

I requested a Machete from BC Bladeworks and here is what they delivered. Too cool to say the least. I wanted it to chop both brush and wood. The hook up front is for cutting small branches and also for hooking brush and pulling. The front “Chisel” edge is for decapitating snakes with a simple push. It can also be used to scrape. The handle can be grasped up front or to the rear. It is another class act from the custom shop. Overall length is about 23” inches. Weight is 2.7 pounds with sheath. I call it the CSAT BAM-Bad Assed Machete. It is the best Woodsman Tool I own.

For information check out @bcbladeworks on instagram or BC BladeWorks on FB. You may also email bcbladeworks@yahoo.com for questions or special/group orders.

RANGES

I had a surprise when I came back from a short trip. Coy and others had a gate built and hung at the front entrance and it dresses it up nicely. Thanks to all who took part in making this project happen.
